Clinical Front Desk Receptionist
Location:
Newark, NJ
Reports to: Director of Nursing
In-direct Report to: Director of Operations

Job Purpose
: Serves patients by greeting and helping them; scheduling appointments; maintaining records and accounts. The front desk receptionist is responsible for management of the clinical/fiscal practice, insurance/chart maintenance and review, safety policies, assist the billing and coding vendor with claim information and documentation and coordinate the 340 B program and EMR coordination by assisting the supervisor. Clinical Receptionist has overall responsibility to assist client’s enrolling in health care, NJ Covered and market place as required by population serve. This position is key in the communication of the team clinical team and actively participates in decision making. Clinical Receptionist prepares for morning huddle with description of clients expected on scheduled. Prepares in anticipation to discuss any possible challenges of the clinical work day and plans accordantly with Providers, Nurses and Clinical Manager.

Job Qualifications
: Associates’ degree or Medical Assistant certification with 3 years experience in a medical office setting, billing and 340 B practices. Must have well developed oral and written communications skills and proven ability to document services and provide reports as required.
